Thai Yoga Massage
Yoga massage, assisted yoga, or "Lazy man's Yoga," the native Thai name for this type of body work is "Nuat boran (noo'at bor'an)," which means ancient pressure. It involves stretching and deep massage. This form of bodywork is traditionally performed on the floor using a mat, but when modified for the massage table it is known as Table Thai. The client wears comfortable clothes that allow for movement and no oils are used.
This type of bodywork is an increasingly popular and requested modality for the work place, corporate and/or industrial settings, health/yoga retreats, health spas, gyms, sports events, and clinical settings.
It also complements and can be used in conjunction with a variety of other bodywork modalities.

La Stone Massage
A time-honored therapy, a hot stone massage radiates deep, relaxing heat
as heated stones bring relief to tense and sore muscles. The warmth of
the stones gliding over your muscles diminishes tension and melts away
stress.

and tension is eased.

Myofascial Massage
Myofascial Massage affects both the muscle ("myo") and fascia of the body.
Fascia is a connective tissue layer in between the layers of muscles and
skin. The fascia can become stuck to the underlying muscle as a result
of repetitive motion, injury, tension, or poor posture, and may lead to
chronic pain, tension, or loss of range of motion. Myofascial massage
can release restricted tissues.

Must I be completely undressed?
Traditionally, most massage and bodywork techniques are performed without
the restriction of clothing. However, you may decide that you would be
more comfortable wearing some undergarments.
Will the massage therapist be present when I disrobe?
No. The massage therapist will leave while you undress. When you are finished,
relax onto the table and cover yourself with the linens provided on the
massage table. The massage therapist will knock before returning.
Will I be covered during the session?
You will be properly covered at all times to keep you warm and comfortable.
The massage therapist will only uncover an area while it is being worked
on.
Which parts of my body will be massaged?
You and the massage therapist will discuss the desired outcome of the
session. This will determine which parts of the body require massage.
A typical full-body session will include back, arms, legs, feet, hands,
head, neck, and shoulders.
Are there any conditions that would make massage or bodywork
inadvisable?
Yes. That is why the massage therapist will ask you general health questions
before your session. It is important that you make the massage therapist
aware of any health problems or medications you are taking. If you are
under a doctor's care, it is strongly advised that you receive a written
recommendation prior to any session.
